School Crossing Guards
Under the direction of the Chief of Police, crossing guards are deployed in the morning and at the end of the school day. Entrusted with the safety of the borough's schoolchildren, candidates for this position must be able to stand and walk for periods of time, are asked to meet certain physical and medical requirements, and complete training once appointed.
This is a perfect job for a retired person, or anyone wishing to earn some extra income without working a full day. If you are dependable, have transportation, and want to work a couple of hours a day, this may be the job for you! We will provide you with paid training and equipment.

The Borough is currently looking for a full-time Mechanic to work in the Department of Public Works.
Description of Duties:
In a garage, and/or in the field, performs maintenance and repair on gasoline and diesel motor vehicles, including special purpose vehicles and associated equipment, such as tractors, power mowers, snowplows, landscape equipment, and shop equipment.
Diagnoses pertinent vehicle operations systems, inoperative motor vehicles, and equipment by using available equipment to determine the cause of the malfunction and takes corrective action, and perform needed repairs.
Perform other related duties as required.
