Marie Fleche Summer Reading Program

  • The Marie Fleche Memorial Library’s Summer Reading Club is open to all pre-school and elementary children from Berlin and surrounding areas.  It will start on June 28 and continue to August 12, 2009.  The theme of the Summer Reading Program for 2010 is “Make a Splash-READ!”  Register at the library and agree to read at least one book each week.  Each week bring your reading log to the library, fill out a coupon indicating you have read a book(s) and you will be entered into a drawing for a weekly prize.
  • It is important that children select their books and read on their own.  Parents may read to preschoolers.  The children who take part in the Summer Reading Program will be awarded a certificate at the end of the six weeks indicating they have successfully completed the program.
  • On Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 1:00 pm, the library staff will host a party with refreshments and prizes for all eligible participants.  To be eligible for the party, the participant must turn in his/her completed reading booklet by Thursday, August 12.
