Under the leadership of the Fire Chief, the Fire Department is responsible for the preservation of life and property of citizens from fire emergencies; maintaining the readiness of personnel, fire station and equipment to promptly respond to a citizens request for emergency, rescue and natural and/or accidental disasters.
