On behalf of our members, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the residents of Berlin Borough and Berlin Township, our local businesses and our Mayors and Council members for their continued support throughout 2007.
During the year of 2007, our department was dispatched to a total of 1,827 emergency calls. There were 830 in Berlin Borough, 691 in Berlin Township and an additional 306 to the surrounding communities.
Our department took part in many activities during the year including “fire prevention” activities at the Berlin and West Berlin Fire companies, Berlin Borough and Berlin Township days, Home Depot’s annual safety day and the annual 4th of July parade and festivities in the Berlin Park. We also continue to work with the Zone 4 Police Tactical Team when requested.
As we move into 2008 our continued goal is to provide the best pre-hospital emergency care possible to all of our residents 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Please join us as we continue to support our troops and pray for their safe and quick return home.
